Museum Express 2011
Buy Direct Transportation Access to a Variety of Southern California’s Finest Museums
From June 16 through August 14, our express bus service to a variety of local museums
will depart from the Transit and Visitor Information Center. Friendly, professional operators will provide you with the superior transportation
service that Long Beach Transit is known for, with accommodations for up to two
wheelchairs. Please know that drivers do not accept tips.
Public parking is available near the Transit and Visitor Information Center where the Museum
Express departs and returns, but why pay for parking? Call your friendly transit
advisors at 562-591-2301 and they will help plan a public transit bus trip from
your home to the Museum Express, or visit us on the web at www.lbtransit.com and use our convenient,
automatic trip planner. It's that easy.
You will find the Summer 2011 itinerary on the Museum Express brochure. Please note that the bus departs
and returns at different times. The times shown reflect the departure time from
the First Street Transit Gallery and the venue. We ask that you plan to arrive 15 minutes
early, as the bus will depart at the scheduled time.
Avoid standing in long lines to purchase your Museum Express tickets! For the first
time, early walk-in and mail-in registration is available. Reserve tickets today!
You can submit your registration form found on the back of the brochure to Long Beach Transit at 1963 E. Anaheim
Street, at the Transit and Information Center, or by
simply mailing it to the address on the form. We will process your registration
within 10 days and mail your tickets to you. If you prefer to pick up your tickets,
please mark that on your registration form. Over-the-counter sales begin May 26th at the Transit and Visitor Information Center at 130 1st St.
Long Beach Transit is not responsible for lost or misplaced mail. Please do
not send cash. Stand-by seats may be available on a first-come, first-served
basis.
